If you're interested in a Tesla, you certainly aren't alone, as the California-based EV brand has been growing insanely fast over the last few years. The main issue is affordability, as the vast majority of Tesla's cars are big money -- often in excess of $75,000, and sometimes over $100,000.
But here's your chance to get a Tesla without spending that kind of money. In fact, you can buy this particular Model S for the price of a well-equipped Toyota Corolla -- but, of course, you get what you pay for. I say that because this Model S is a 2013 model, and it's already traveled nearly 120,000 miles from new, which is a big figure in just six years. That also makes it one of the highest-mileage Tesla Model S models currently listed for sale on Autotrader. It's also a Model S 60 model, which means it has a lower range than most other Model S models -- in fact, the 60 has since been canceled in favor of improved versions of the sedan.
Offered by SJL Motors in Des Plaines, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, this Model S is listed for just $26,705, which is shockingly inexpensive, considering that a new Model S starts around $80,000 before options. This is, indeed, the cheapest Model S on Autotrader, though it's worth noting that other Model S models are also getting into this price range, generally with similar mileage and equipment. This particular one has a clean title with no history of accident damage on the Carfax report.
So, while this may not be the brand-new Model S you've been looking for, it's still a Model S -- and it's not as expensive as you might expect. Find a Tesla Model S for sale
